Black Panther (Saturday, 04 July 2015 09:59) Opponent: Black Panther First Appearance: Fantastic Four vol. 1 #52 / July 1966 Powers: super-senses and super-strentgh and super-stamina, brilliant tactician, strategist, scientist, tracker, master of all forms of armed and unarmed combat T'Challa is the Black Panther, Former king of Wakanda, one of the most technologically advanced nations on Earth. He is among the top intellects of the world, a veteran Avenger, and a member of the Illuminati. Using his powers and abilities, he has pledged his fortune, powers, and life to the service of all mankind. And the battle begins: Both Superman and Black Panther possess super-strength, senses, and stamina. Those then can be cancelled out. Superman's durability/invulnerability can be cancelled out due to the vibranium suit that Black Panther wears giving him that same edge. Black Panther being the great tracker that he is would be able to find Superman anywear, yet this isnt a real needed attribute because Superman isn't really one to hide. And if he did try to hide it would most likely be in the Fortress of Solitude where Superman would then have a deffinate edge on Black Panther. So Black Panther wouldn't really want to do that. Being the great scientist/strategist/tactitian that the Black Panther is, if given time he could find out seemingly as much about Superman as Lex Luthor has, so everything. This would th en give Black Panther a slight edge in knowing all of Superman's powers, the bad guys in Superman 2 did too and it didnt help, and weaknesses. However, being as self-sufficient as the Black Panther likes to be, the chances of getting his hands on kryptonite are slim to none. This leaves Black Panther with only his great skills of combat. The weaponry aspect of Black Panther's combat skills are negligible due to the "weapons" Superman still has, heat vision, super-breath, and the shield throw used in the second Superman movie. Black Panther is now down to only his advanced knowledge and ability of fighting genres. His includes all forms of unarmed battle and animal mimicry. Superman still as his ability to fly which is a great disadvantage to Black Panther. Superman is a pretty good fighter himself, but is limited really only to a boxing or bare-knuckle style of fighting. So a hand-to-hand fight would rage on. Realisticly Black Panther would start to get an edge but Superman has another trick up his sleeve, Super Flare, the ability to expel solar energy in forceful blasts. Although this was a close one, Superman would still win in the end.
